
Grand Rapids’ Movies in the Park Back This Summer, Lineup Revealed
Looking for something fun (and free!) to so this summer? Grand Rapids Movies in the Park series is returning and the lineup has been revealed.

Changes This Year
Previously hosted by Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. at Ah-Nab-Awen Park, this year Friends of Grand Rapids Parks is hosting the series at five different parks around town.
What You Can Bring
Lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks are allowed, but the public is asked to refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages.
Event Schedule
Each Movies in the Park night will start at 7p.m. with yard games, music, dance, entertainment, and recreational activities for all ages. The movie will start at 9p.m.
2021 Lineup:
- June 18: Martin Luther King Park, Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse
- July 17: Sullivan Field, A League of Their Own
- July 31: Roosevelt Park, Moana
- Aug. 7: Plaster Creek Family Park, Raya and the Last Dragon
- Aug. 21: Highland Park, Wonder Woman: 1984
Another Outdoor Movie Series This Summer
East Grand Rapids is also hosting their own Movies and Concerts in the Park Series this summer at John Collins Park on Reeds Lake. All events are free and family-friendly.
The concerts will feature local musicians and bands and will be held Monday nights from 7p-8:30p.

- July 12, 19, and 26
Movies will be shown on Friday's at sunset:
- July 9: Moana
- July 16: Sing
- August 20: Aladdin (2019)
- August 27: Raya and the Last Dragon

Visit City Pools and Splashpads
The City's three pools and 14 Splash pads are open daily through Sept. 12. More information here.
