GR Opens Yard Waste Site For Residents During Storm Cleanup
If you’re a Grand Rapids resident and have tree limbs or other yard debris, the city has opened the yard waste drop off site at 2001 Butterworth Street SW.
The City Of Grand Rapids website says residents can drop off tree limbs, branches, twigs, and brush 7 days a week from 9 am to 6 pm until further notice. You will have to show an ID proving you live in Grand Rapids, and you need to bring the yard waste loose or in a paper bag, but they won’t accept anything in plastic bags.
If you’re curious about whether what you have should go to the yard waste site, the city department says to give them a call to ask, 616-456-3000.
