GRPS To Offer Free Lunch Around City For Kids In Need This Summer
Now that summer is here, and schools are out, there are kids that aren’t as excited for the time away from school because, for them, it’s the one guaranteed meal a day.
WeAreGR.com reports that GRPS will feed students around the city throughout the summer paid for by the USDA. There will be more than 20 sites where kids 18 and under can just show up and enjoy a free meal. Each of the locations will serve lunch and may serve breakfast or a snack.
The program is paid for by the USDA “Meet Up and Eat Up” program.
You can find the different locations below and no registration is required, according to WeAreGR.com.
