I-96 Shut Down in Both Directions Following Crash Near Coopersville

All eastbound and westbound lanes of I-96 are shut down this afternoon near Coopersville following a serious crash.

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes around 1:30 p.m. at mile marker 16, near 68th Ave.

WZZM-13 reports that at least one person has been pinned in a vehicle and Aeromed has been called to the scene.
