If They Want You To Pay In Gift Cards, It’s A Scam!

Lowell Police shared the unfortunate story of a resident who was scammed out of $10,000 by reminding you to be vigilant. 

In a Facebook post, the Lowell Police Department offer a check list of things to look out for when getting a text or e-mail regarding your computer, your phone or your bank account among other things.

The sad reason for their post was a case involving someone who was scammed out of 10-grand.
