Michigan Fest Voted Among Top Ten Fall Festivals in the U.S.

One Michigan festival is getting national attention for being among the top ten best in the entire country.

USA Today and 10Best were on the hunt for the top fall festivals in the U.S. A panel of experts has chose 20 festivals that celebrate the changing of the seasons, colorful fall foliage, pumpkins, apples, and more. Then it was put up to a public vote to determine the top ten.

Michigan's Silver Lake Sand Dunes Apple and BBQ Festival has been voted the No. 7 best fall festival in the U.S.!

This year's festival took place September 6-7 at Golden Township Park in Mears.

Each year, while taking in the gorgeous scenery of Lake Michigan and Silver Lake, guests can enjoy a craft show, car show, kids activities, and live music. They can also compete in the apple pie eating contest and the Apple A Day 5K.
