Before the age of the internet, fan clubs were how fans professed their fandom and kept up to date with their favorite celebrities, with fan club members actively checking their mailboxes and eagerly awaiting the latest news and exclusive memorabilia.

That has largely disappeared in the age of the internet, replaced instead by fan accounts on social media (I used to run a Supernatural Tumblr account 😬), with people making accounts and video edits about that person or show or whatever they're a fan of.

There are some unlikely fan accounts, and a perfect example is on TikTok for WOOD TV8's meteorologist, Blake Harms, the school-closing predictor.

Sometimes your For You page shows you things that make you question what about that video was for me, but this time, I was grateful because it showed me blake.harms.fan on TikTok.

It is a fan account that edits content about the Storm Team 8 meteorologist, highlighting that he's a cat dad, that winter is actually Black Harms season, and even edits the maps showing snow days. There's even an AI-made song about Storm Team 8 and Harms that is, unfortunately, quite catchy.

As someone who has been on the internet for a while, this is a great balance of funny while not being too creepy/weird. Honestly, I'm a big fan of blake.harms.fan. Not much is known about who runs the account, or whether Blake is aware of its existence, but it currently has 902 followers and is still posting semi-regularly.

The only thing that would make the account even better is if Blax`x`ke himself were secretly running. Now THAT would be quite the revelation.
