Of all the world records set in Grand Rapids, the most well-known has to be the Grand Rapids Lip Dub, which involved over 5,000 people and now has 6 million views on YouTube. The scale of this record is remarkable, but there's one on this list that gives it a run for its money in terms of impressiveness.

World Records Set Across Michigan

While this is the best-known record set in the city, there have been several other notable world records in our time. Many of them are related to ArtPrize, the annual art competition that turns Grand Rapids into a large art exhibit (and gives people the opportunity to do some pretty absurd things).
