Kalamazoo Growlers Offer Tampa Bay Rays a Helping Hand
The Kalamazoo Growlers offered the Tampa Bay Rays the use of Homer Stryker Field since the team was displaced after a recent hurricane. Nice gesture but...
Tropicana Field is Unplayable
When Hurricane Milton passed through Tampa Bay a few weeks ago Tropicana Field took a direct hit. The roof was torn completely off and now the Tampa Bay Rase are unsure where they will play their games until a new stadium opens in 2028.

Kalamazoo Growlers Offer Use of Homer Stryker Field to Tampa Bay Rays
I thought it was a very kind gesture for the Kalamazoo Growlers to offer the use of Homer Stryker Field to the Tampa Bay Rays for the upcoming 2025 season. Not only is this kind but could mean a lot of revenue for the stadium and the city of Kalamazoo.
Major League Baseball prefers the team to stay close to the Tampa Bay area for the 2025 season for the fans. There are college stadiums in the region plus they could share the Miami Marlin's field but no matter what field they work a deal with the team is homeless until 2028.
The Kalamazoo Growlers officially invited the Tampa Bay Rays to use Homer Stryker Field until their new stadium gets built. Reddit poster "_Go_Ham_Box_Hotdog_" shared the announcement but the first response to the post from "agentx216" may kill the idea when they said, "Ironic considering the Growler's field probably goes underwater more than the Florida one."
Home Stryker Field is no stranger to flooding. The field often takes on water during the season and plenty of times during the off-season but maybe the Growlers can get that fixed to strike a deal.
