Grand Rapids Sicilian Restaurant Opens New Location

A restaurant serving authentic Sicilian Cuisine has opened a new location in Grand Rapids!

Big changes are in the works for Licari's Pizza Kitchen, which has been in business for over a decade at 2869 Knapp St.

The menu includes pizzas with sauce that's made from scratch daily, fresh vegetables, and top quality imported Italian meats.

You'll also find appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and pastas, desserts, cocktails, and more.

Licari's owners shared the news last December they'd be relocating to 3123 Leonard St. NE and transforming their current location on Knapp into a new concept. The Leonard St. location is the former home of Gus's Original.

They released the below rendering at the time, saying, "Our Grand Rapids location is moving!... We've acquired the property at 3123 Leonard St. NE... Get ready for an enhanced experience with expanded dining and bar areas, event space, outdoor seating, and even a bocce court!"

The new Licari's on Leonard is open as of Sept. 27, 2024. 

As far as the Knapp location, the owners said their vision is to transform it into "a more refined concept, featuring a curated menu and innovative cocktails." Sept. 15 was the last day of service at Licari's on Knapp.

Licari's also has a location in Hudsonville.
