Love’s Ice Cream: A Grand Rapids Staple
Since opening at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market in 2013, Love’s Ice Cream has built a loyal following for its small-batch approach and creative treats. If you’ve ever grabbed one of their signature Michigan-shaped “Mitten Pops,” you already know the appeal.

The shop focuses on high-quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. You'll find hand-scooped ice cream, vegan gelato, sorbet, baked goods, and chocolates, all made from scratch using organic ingredients, grass-fed dairy, and locally sourced produce whenever possible.

Earlier this year, Love's shared they are planning to open a shop at 5 W. Eighth Street in Holland, with a grand opening date to be announced soon... well, we now know when that is!
The owners are setting up the new space as a nostalgic gathering place for the community, complete with a classic soda fountain vibe. Alongside their traditional hand-scooped flavors and signature gluten-free and dairy-free options, the expanded menu will feature old-school favorites like milkshakes, malts, ice cream floats, and ice-cold sodas.
