The fall is a great time to seed or even feed your lawn one more time. Looking ahead at the weather, it looks like this time frame will be extended for a few more weeks.

The summer can be hard on your lawn especially if there is not a lot of rain. The grass can become thinner and even have some dead patches. There is still time to do something about your lawn and make sure you have a great start in the spring.

Granted, it is riskier to seed or feed in October but looking ahead at the weather, you still have time to hit that lawn one more time. We are going to have a warmer October than usual, so newly seeded grass will have some time to become established. Not to mention the high dew that is going on plus rain should help the seeding right along. Let's just say, the sooner the better.

Look, you still have to get a few more mows in, so you might as well drag some seed or feed behind your tractor or walk some out after you mow with your spreader. It is easy to do, just read the packaging and go for it. Mother nature will do the rest and you will have the best spring lawn you've ever had.
