The Goat Comments on Ejection of Lions Branch Maybe Trouble
Early in the Lions vs Packers game defensive back Brian Branch was ejected and Fox Sports commentator Tom Brady made a comment that may cause him trouble.
Why Detroit Lions Brian Branch Was Ejected
This past Sunday the Detroit Lions played the Green Bay Packers in Green Bay for a game the Lions won 24-14. Something happened early in the second quarter when the Lions' safety Brian Branch delivered a hit to Packers wide receiver Bo Melton.

The hit Branch put on Melton didn't look like he was targeting the wide receiver but their helmets collided and an unnecessary roughness penalty was called.
What started as an unnecessary roughness call from the referee on the field turned into an ejection when the NFL referees in New York monitored the league's replays.
Branch didn't need to salute the Packers fans which didn't improve the situation and will probably lead to another problem for him or even a fine.

Tom Brady's Comments on the Ejection of Branch May Cause Him Problems
Most know of "The Goat" and his 7 Super Bowl rings Tom Brady. 6 of those rings came when he was a New England Patriot and 1 as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer.
Brady is now a Fox Sports commentator and a partial owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. So there is life after football for Brady.
According to MLive, during a sports broadcast Brady said, "I don't love that call at all. Obviously it's a penalty, but to me, there has to be serious intent in a game like this." I said the same thing when I saw the play but I'm not a sports commentator or part owner of a pro football team. There are rules for a broadcaster and part team owner that do not allow public criticism of officiating games. There may be a penalty for his statements but the NFL has been silent.
