The last time Five Finger Death Punch (FFDP) were in Grand Rapids was at Van Andel Arena on November 9, 2022. FFDP kicked off their tour in G.R. that night with Brantley Gilbert and Cory Marks. The arena was packed for a show that featured metal and country acts.

Another project that has kept FFDP busy is over the past few years that required them to rerecord their classic songs, due to a label dispute with Prospect Park. The band's former label sold their original master recordings without the band's knowledge, preventing them from reclaiming their work and rights.

FFDP is celebrating its 20th anniversary with two releases, 20 Years of Five Finger Death Punch Best of Volume 1 and Volume 2. Both albums featured the rerecorded songs with some guest vocalists like Maria Bring of In This Moment, and Baby Metal to name a few.

Five Finger Death Punch announced their 20th Anniversary World Tour and it makes a stop on Saturday, August 15, at the Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids. It's FFDP with special guests Cody Jinks, and Evan Under Fire.
