Laura Bywalec, High Life Farm's marketing manager, told WoodTV,

"We want to show people that cannabis isn't just about consuming. It's far more than just being a big-name company that wants to make money or kind of things like that. We want to show people that as much as we love growing and producing and sharing our love for the product with other people, we want to show other people we care more about helping the community and helping others in need, especially around the holidays."

The goal for the 'Bring A Can, Get A Gram" food drive is to collect more than 2,000 cans for people in need across the state.

Once they receive the cans, they will be distributed and donated to different local food pantries.

From now till Sunday, November 20th, you can participate in this food drive across the state at different cannabis dispensaries.

If you are in Grand Rapids or the West Michigan area, Joyology on 28th Street will be collecting donations this Saturday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
