I want to find the only person in West Michigan who isn't aware that the midterm elections are this Tuesday, November 8th. Between billboards, yard signs, and ads galore, you probably already have a strong opinion on who or what you plan to vote for.

And while the midterm elections aren't known for being the most exciting, in Michigan we are voting on some big things. We are choosing who we want to be our governor, we're voting on several local elections like school board, as well voicing our opinion on some pretty important ballot measures.

I'm not here to tell you WHAT to vote for, I'm just here to celebrate the fact that your fancy 'I voted' sticker can net you some pretty fantastic deals. (Not that should be the reason that you vote, but we all love a freebie.)

What if you voted early and don't have a sticker? I'm not sure the official rules, but the city of Grand Rapids does offer a digital 'i voted' sticker, so you can participate too.

Hardees: If you join their rewards program, you can get your choice of a free Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Famous Star, or Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich. Not entirely election based, but get some free food!

Krispy Kreme:  Krispy Kreme is offering a free Original Glazed donut, no purchase required, and you don't have to show an "I Voted" sticker in order to redeem, so it's okay if you mailed in that ballot.

Penn Station: If you order a sub on their website, you can get a free small sub sandwich by using the code PSBOGO

Popeyes: When you buy a chicken sandwich combo online or using the Popeyes app, you can get an additional chicken sandwich for free. This is ongoing through November 9th.

Taco Bell: Through the end of this week (11/12) if you spend $15 in the Taco Bell mobile app, you can snag a free Cheesy Gordita Crunch.

So make sure you get out and exercise your civic duty on election day, and a friendly reminder to Grand Rapids locals: The Rapid is providing free rides to your polling place if you need a ride to vote!
