Inside John Ball Zoo’s Stunning 2026 Lantern Festival
One of the sure signs of spring in West Michigan is the reopening of the John Ball Zoo. And for the last few years, another sure sign has been the unveiling of the lantern festival.
We had the opportunity to check out a preview of this year's display, and now you can get a sneak peek inside.
John Ball Zoo Lantern Festival 2026
This year's festival runs from Thursday, April 8, 2026, through Sunday, June 14, 2026. Tickets can be purchased for Wednesday through Sunday nights. Each ticket is assigned a specific start time between 7:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
