These amazing ladies on the Michigan Basketball team however are incredible and just nailed an amazing trick shot.
Michigan basketball pulls off an amazing poolside trick shot
The Michigan Women's Basketball team has a July 4th tradition of making some incredible trick shots.
And for this 4th of July, they pulled off another amazing trick shot.
I shared the video below if you want to scroll down and watch it.
But to truly appreciate how awesome this shot was I broke down some of the biggest moments where one simple mistake would have ruined the entire shot.
The trick shot starts outside of the pool
The ball is tossed off the backboard and then caught and thrown behind the back
She catches then catches the perfect behind-the-back pass
The ball is then bounced off of a trampoline
The perfect bounce clears the pool fence and heads to a waiting teammate
The teammate is floating in the pool waiting for the ball
After catching the ball she tosses it up in the air for another teammate to grab
The teammate jumps into the pool and grabs the pass in midair
she then passes to another teammate who perfectly timed her slide into the pool
Just as she touches down into the water she tosses the ball to another teammate
Look at how close she was to not getting the pass off in time
Another teammate is waiting for the ball to come to her
She jumps into the pool and catches the pass midair
Just as she's going into the pool she tosses the ball to another teammate on the edge of the pool.
She catches the ball and starts jumping into the pool
With her knees bent she lobs the ball to another teammate waiting to slam dunk the ball
You can feel the tension as everyone is watching to see if this amazing trick shot will be pulled off
The player jumps into the pool and catches the ball, all that's left is the slam dunk
with a crowd cheering behind her the ball is slammed into the hoop and everyone goes wild.
