In the past we've seen some incredible views of Michigan at night.
Astronauts share some incredible pictures from when they're floating above earth.
Not to be outdone, NASA's Earth Observatory also captures some stunning images.
On Friday, October 25th one of those was the image of the day.
In this picture you can see all kinds of different colors across Michigan from yellow, red and a bunch of green.
This amazing picture was taken with the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) which is on the NOAA-20 satellite.
VIIRS can observe the entire Earth's surface twice daily, And data collected is used for land surface temperature monitoring, fire detection, cloud masking, and oceanographic studies.
The instrument's capabilities allow for improved mapping of active fires and enhanced environmental monitoring.
