According to Onlyinyourstate.com you can start your roadtrip at the Fallasburg bridge in Lowell, built in 1871 and open to vehicles.

The covered foot bridge in Ada, built in 1867, crosses the Thornapple River.

The Langley covered foot bridge in Centreville over the St. Joseph River is the longest one in Michigan.

The Holz-Brucke covered bridge in Frankenmuth was built in 1980 specifically for traffic.

The Pierce Stocking covered bridge at Sleeping Bear Dunes is especially photo-friendly in the fall.

At Joshua's Crossing in Benzie County, the Loon Song covered bridge is 90-feet long over a 20-foot-deep ravine.
