The calendar says that summer is here until September 22nd this year. However, it's about to feel like autumn arrived early... at least for a few days.

Michigan's weather has always been the kind of thing that changes quickly and can be rather weird, the kind of weather where you have the potential to experience all four seasons in a day.

However, the possible weather that Michigan is in store these next ten days really said, "Hold my Beer".

In August, we got the extreme heat in humidity, thanks in part to the 'corn sweats' Yes, it's a real thing (you can read more about that HERE). Now, to take us through to mid September, we're looking at a wide range of weather.

Michigan is in for Some Fall-Like Weather This Weekend

According to WILX, we're going to see high temperatures range from the low 60s to the mid 80s.

Thursday (Sep. 5) we'll experience the warmest day within the next seven days, according to the National Weather Service, with a high in the mid 80s. Thursday night there will also be a chance of thunderstorms that bleed into Friday morning.

The coolest day will be Saturday, with a high that only reaches the low 60s. Then, things will warm back up to the mid 70s by Monday and the low 80s by Tuesday.

As a lover of all things fall, including but definitely not limited to the cooler weather, I'm excited at the prospect of cooler days. But this is Michigan, so all of this can change on a dime. Moral of the story: don't put away your shorts just yet, but you might want to dig that hoodie or sweatshirt out of the back of the closet.
