Michigan LL Cool J Fans Excited for His First Arena Tour in Decades
Michigan gets some of the best concerts in the country. No matter which part of the state you live, you're going to see amazing talent. This performer hasn't played a Michigan stage since 2013 at Pine Knob (then DTE) and hasn't had a full-fledged arena tour in nearly 30 years.

LL Cool J, or James Todd Smith, has been busy with a successful acting career in movies and the long-running TV series NCIS: Los Angeles (which just ended after 14 seasons). He also hosted Lip Sync Battle for Paramount. Now, it seems he has a little extra free time and wants to do an Arena tour with a different scheduled guests throughout the run.
Look for LL Cool J (remember it stand for Ladies Love Cool James) to play Little Caesars Arena August 18th, 2023. The official name of the tour is LL Cool J: The F.O.R.C.E. Live.

LL Cool J's Career
LL Cool J started in the mid-80s. Given all of his success, he pretty much made Def Jam Records a force on his own. His big hits include: "I Need Love," "Goin' Back to Cali," "Momma Said Knock You Out," "Phenomenon," "Doin' It" "Loungin', "Hey Lover (with Boyz II Men) and many more. In the early 2000s he collaborated with J.Lo on "All I Have" while she returned the favor on his 2006 single "Control Myself." (Check that mid-90s cordless phone, below.)
