Gotcha!

Kendrick Lamar's forthcoming album is highly-anticipated, to put it mildly, and after K. Dot dropped "The Heart Part 4" in March, fans were hyped and believed Lamar's new album would be available on April 7.

Well, there's good news and there's bad news.

First, the bad news. Obviously, no new Kendrick album dropped on April 7. But the good news is last night (April 6), Kendrick revealed the album's actual release date: April 14.

The album is available for pre-order on iTunes, but no title and tracklist have been revealed. The cover art is a black square--but it isn't apparent whether thats the official album artwork. Anticipation for the new Kendrick Lamar album reached a fever pitch after he released his latest video “Humble.”

Directed by Dave Meyers & the Little Homies (K. Dot himself and TDE’s Dave Free), the video features a litany of striking visuals; with Kendrick dressed in religious robes, his head is engulfed in flames in another scene; later, he’s dressed as a golfer and tees off while standing on a car. The song also drew criticism for what some considered misogyny and body shaming.
