Kenowa Hills Grad Goes For World Title Today [Video]
Donovan Brazier breezed to a semi-final win this weekend in the 800 meter run at the World Track and Field Championships in Qatar.
Brazier, a 2015 graduate of Kenowa Hills has been one of the top competitors in the 800-meter event since leaving his collegiate career to turn pro in 2017.
Brazier will pace a USA team that landed all three of its qualifiers into the finals. Clayton Murphy and Bryce Hoppel also landed places in today's final which will go off at 3:10pm Eastern Time this afternoon from Doha, Qatar.
Brazier ran a personal best 1:42.70 in the 800 last month in Switzerland. That is just .01 off the American record, currently held by Johnny Gray.
