After a three-year wait, Keyshia Cole is ready to drop her seventh album, 11:11 Reset.
The R&B singer jumped on her Twitter page to announce the release date for the project. “10/20 album will be released,” she tweeted. “I’ve been working so hard on this Album man!!!!”
Cole says she’s reinventing herself with the project. “It’s time to hit the reset,” she told Rap-Up back in April. “I’m at a new label. I’m bringing an end to my divorce, it’s finalizing. That’s a new reset.”
According to reports, the album features guest appearances by French Montana, Remy Ma, DJ Khaled, Young Thug and even Tupac Shakur. One song, "Ride" features Kamaiyah and samples 2Pac’s "Hail Mary."
"[The song is like] we’re tired of being f---ed over so we about to pull up on you and ride on you,” she explained to Rap-Up. “It’s like, you don’t even understand what you’re doing, you’re really pissing me off, and my friends are mad about it too so we gots to all come over there and make sure that you understand what you’re doing wrong.”
Cole released two songs from the project “You” (featuring Remy Ma and French Montana) and “Incapable,” for which she recently shot a video for with director Mike Ho. "The hardest part about realizing someone is incapable of fully loving you.... is the emotional roller coaster," she wrote in her photo series on Instagram.
