Michigan is one of the top states in the country for Bigfoot sightings. Can we make a Pure Michigan ad featuring Sasquatch to monetize it?

'In Search Of Monsters' is a show on the Travel Channel that is what it says it is. It looks for monsters. Whether they're real or not. Things like the Wendago, a kind of zombie like monster, to the Loch Ness Monster, and, of course, Bigfoot.

To that end, the Travel Channel posted a blog recently entitled 'The Eight Best Places To See Bigfoot Right Now', and guess what? Michigan's one of them. I kid you not.

According to the Travel Channel, Michigan is fourth among all states in Bigfoot sightings at 1,131, and then they tell us the best places to go in the state -- NORTH:

Michigan may be more famous for the legend of the “Dogman,” but the state also has a high number of Bigfoot sightings. Some of the highest amounts of Bigfoot activity is near the Seney National Wildlife Refuge in Michigan’s rugged Upper Peninsula. One eerie report comes from a mother who was driving with her young infant. She pulled over for the night in a picnic area, only to be awoken by a foul smell. When she opened her eyes, she saw a large hairy creature staring at her child through the windshield.

Knowing the Seney Stretch like I do, some of these sightings may actually just be motorists forced to walk long miles to get gas after running out.

Number one on the list is Washington, followed by California and Pennsylvania, then Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Texas.
