West Michigan woke up to slick and black ice on the roads this morning that even Grand Rapids Police told people to avoid roads if possible. However, drivers weren't the only ones who dealt with the ice... so did pedestrians.

Staff from Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital told WZZM that slip-and-fall cases were "off the charts" today. By 10 a.m. there were 20 people in the emergency room because of slip-and-fall accidents. It was no different at Mercy Health; by 4:30 p.m. they had admitted 30 people.

Spectrum Health posted on their Facebook page advising people with minor injuries to go non-emergency places, such as an urgent care.

As someone who slipped walking to work today I'm curious, did you slip and fall too?
