Man Shot in Grand Rapids After Setting Up Sale on ‘Offer Up’ App, One in Custody [VIDEO]
A 25-year-old man was shot in the leg near Francis Avenue and Burton Street SE around 11a.m. Saturday.
According to WZZM-13, an early investigation reveals the man was meeting someone after setting up a sale through the app 'Offer Up'.
During the meeting, the suspect pulled out a gun and fired.
The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for a non-life threatening injury.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, over 6-feet tall with a tattoo on his neck. He was seen leaving the scene in a silver sedan.
Police have taken one person into custody. It is not known at this time if that person is the shooting suspect.
