A controversial cheerleading coach will not be returning to Bentley Community Schools in Burton, Michigan.

The former Bentley Middle School cheer coach allegedly posted insensitive remarks about a young girl with special needs. I use the term 'allegedly' because the posts have since been deleted from the woman's personal social media page - but were shared by others before being deleted.

Parents in the community were outraged by her remarks, which led to Bentley Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Kristy Spann releasing an official statement about the issue,

As you read above, the woman in question is also being investigated by her direct employer, the Genesee Education Consultant Services, and will no longer be working for Bentley Community Schools.
