Michigan Ranked 4th Best State For Beer – Should We Be Ranked Higher?
If you ask the average Michigander about which state has the best beer, most will say right here in Michigan, but the website Thrillist.com disagrees. In a recent article, the website ranked every state in the United States based on how good their locally produced beer is.
Thrillist ranked Michigan as #4 on the list, citing Founders and Bell's as two of the most popular breweries in the state. The article threw some love to these other Michigan breweries: Shorts, Arcadia, Jolly Pumpkin, Upper Hand, Blackrocks, Cognition, and Tenacity.
The three states that are said to have better beer than Michigan are California (#3), Colorado (#2), Oregon (#1).
