Police on the east side of Michigan had a rather 'haunting' and 'chilling' case to crack.

We need Scooby and the gang for this one!

What Happened With The Case of the Open Casket?

A picture of an open casket was found in Butcher Park in Warren, Michigan.

The Warren Police Department went to social media to explain the viral open casket photo.

When they first saw the open casket photo circulating online, they responded to the scene, but it was mysteriously gone.

Everyone wondered why a mysterious open casket was in the middle of one of the city's parks. Also, how did it mysteriously vanish out of thin air?

Thankfully, after the public sent the Warren Police Department tips, they were able to connect the casket to a funeral director in NEW YORK.

According to the police, they were transported the remains of a 97-year-old woman, so she could be buried in Detroit.

Now, that we know what happened, why was the casket found in a city park?

In a statement from the Warren Police Department, they shared that,

"The deceased was a lifelong Warren resident who passed away in New York. Several of the deceased's family members live near Butcher Park. The Funeral Director temporarily situated the casket in the park so that the deceased's family members could say their final goodbyes."

While there was no crime committed, the police would have loved a heads-up. I think everyone would have loved that too.

So now, "The Case of the Open Casket" is solved!

This is What AI Think a Typical Day in Grand Rapids, Michigan Looks Like

I asked Canva's Magic Studio to help me out and show me what it thought a typical day in Grand RapidsMichigan looks like. It's... wild. And further shows that while AI can be useful, it's not as good as an actual, skilled human.
