Missing Michigan Teen Who Had Been Messaging With Stranger on Messaging App Reported Endangered

The Michigan State Police believe that a missing 16-year-old girl is in danger following a series of messages sent between her and another person on the Kik Messaging app.

Joy Dene Martin left her home in Saugatuck and possibly boarded a Greyhound bus to travel out of state, according to a Michigan State Police news release.

Martin is considered endangered.

Martin is described as 5-foot-6-inches tall and 180 pounds with blonde hair.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Michigan State Police at 269-792-2213.
