Mother Duck Alertly Quacks Until Firefighters Save Her Ducklings

Meet the duck whisperer.

This mama duck quacked at the man making this video, causing him to do a little investigating and discover her ducklings were trapped underneath a grate.

The man contacted the Phoenix Fire Department, who dispatched a few of their own to save the day. They removed the grate and rescued the little critters -- all nine of them. The babies were then freed and hightailed it to their mother for the sweetest reunion you'll ever see.

And to think it all started with the mother having the presence of mind to quack in front of a human. They say mothers will do anything for their children and this proves that it's true, no matter what kind of animal.
