Since opening in 2017, Little Caesars Arena has already seen major acts come through and make an impact. But Mumford & Sons came through and broke a record

The folk-rock band had a concert at the Detroit arena on Wednesday the 27th where 17,794 people were in attendance, according to WXYZ Detroit. The arena posted on their Facebook page that this is the highest to date for a paid show.

The previous record was held by Jay Z in November of 2017. Even lead singer, Marcus Mumford, acknowledged the achievement by saying "we love Jay Z." Based on the band's Twitter page they set another record attendance at the Kohl Center in Madison, WI on Saturday.

Little Caesars Arena holds about 20,000 people and is home to the Pistons and Red Wings.
