Do you remember the University of Michigan cheating scandal?
Now, Connor Stalions has broken his silence on Netflix.
New Netflix Film Depicts Michigan Cheating Scandal
For the first time since the scandal was publicized, the former Michigan football staffer has spoken out in Netflix's new film, "UNTOLD: Sign Stealer."
This comes two days after the university received a notice of allegations from the NCCA about this situation, according to CBS.
"If I'm a bad guy, then everyone in football is a bad guy."
In the film, Connor shared his feelings about the controversy that changed his life.
"They dragged my name in the mud, they dragged Michigan's name in the mud for months. My whole changed."
As you may know, the NCAA rules do not outright prohibit sign stealing, however, the governing group does outright ban advance scouting, which Stalions tries to clear up in the film.
In the film, Stalions was asked by investigators if he attended the Central Michigan vs Michigan State game on September 1, 2023, which started it all. Stalions states that he does not recall.
After the Wolverines suspended Stalions, they thought that the conversations would die down. However, someone who looked like Connor Stalions was seen on the Central Michigan University sidelines.
From that moment on, there was even more talk about what was going on with Stalions and the University of Michigan.
Where Is Connor Stalions Now?
If you are wondering what Connor Stalions is doing right now, he is still involved in football.
Instead of the university, he is coaching at a Michigan high school.
You can watch UNTOLD: Sign Stealer on Netflix now to hear the full story and Connor Stalions' point of view.
