Detroit Cookie Co. just opened it's third Michigan location at 5088 28th Street SE in Grand Rapids, at the site of the former Game Stop.

Lauren Roumayah, a Wayne State graduate, first started Detroit Cookie Co. with her husband in a shared-use kitchen space; the pair opened their first brick and mortar location in Ferndale in 2017.  They opened a second Detroit Cookie Co. location in Ann Arbor earlier this year.

Roumayah says she loves "infusing recipes using delicious flavors from Detroit" and she aims to "keep thinking outside of the box" with her cookie creations.

According to a release from Colliers GR, Detroit Cookie Co. ships cookies all over the country in flavors like the Big 3, which includes Better Made potato chips, Michigan dried cherries and chocolate chips; and Cap N' Berry O, which includes Cap n' Crunch Berries, Oreo bits, and rainbow sprinkles.

I LOVE cookie dough, so I'm excited to try their XL cookies, which are hand-studded milk chocolate chips, Reece's Pieces, or M&Ms in mounds of edible cookie dough!

They also serve cereal treats, brownies, blondies, coffee, ice cream - and cinnamon rolls on Saturdays and Sundays

Dan Rose, partner at Detroit Cookie Co. Grand Rapids says, "We are so excited about bringing this unique small business to Grand Rapids in a centralized location so people from all around can enjoy our cookies. We can't wait to share our one-of-a-kind recipes with the community."

The new Grand Rapids location is open seven days a week, 12p.m. to 5p.m.

Detroit Cookie Co. is planning to expand with more West Michigan locations! Follow them on Instagram for updates.
