New Grand Rapids Tiki Bar Hiring More Than 100 People

Looking for a new gig? Max’s South Seas Hideaway is looking to hire more than 100 employees.

The two-story tiki bar and restaurant at 58 Ionia Avenue, previously McFadden's, is set to open this fall. Positions are open for cooks, servers, bartenders, bar backs, hosts,  dishwashers, and other restaurant staff.

MLive reports Max's has opened a hiring center at 59 Commerce Ave. SW that will operate Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Max's will specialize in a fusion of Asian, Hawaiian, and American food, and exotic cocktails.
