Offset’s Lawyers Serve Cease and Desist Order to Woman for Pregnancy Claims
Offset's legal team is taking off on the woman who recently claimed to be pregnant with the Migos rapper's baby, and recently served the woman with a cease and desist order.
As previously reported, over the weekend, a woman named Celina Powell claimed that she was knocked up by the "Bad and Boujee" rhymer. Posting a picture of a sonogram, she caption the pic, "These past few months have been a complete mess, but I finally found enough strength to open up about what’s going on. Yes I am expecting & yes she’s a GIRL 💖 my whole life is changing and right now it’s definitely for the better. I’m not sure what the future holds but I hope [Offset] & I work this out for the sake of Karma Lee Cephus." Powell is known for making similar false claims with other celebrities and has since taken down the post.
Set later denied the claims, saying he's never had contact with the woman in question. Now he's taking it a step further. According to TMZ, the Atlanta rapper and his lawyers think this may be an extortion plot. His lawyers say Powell has even requested money to get an abortion. They recently issued with a cease and desist order (below) demanding she stop with the false allegations. They claim the bad publicity is already hitting Offset in the pockets and brands are starting to pull the plug on deals.
It's been scandalous holiday season for both Cardi B and Offset. Hopefully, they can stay out of relationship drama in the new year.
