Approximately 2,459 Consumers Energy customers in Barry and Allegan counties will be without power Saturday night while crews make repairs, Wood TV8 reports.

The planned outage will start around 11p.m.

According to Consumers Energy, crews need to connect a new high-voltage power line to a substation near Delton.

The affected area is generally bordered by Keller Road to the north, Manning Lake Road to the east, Milo Road to the south and Enzian Road to the west.

The outage is expected to last about 8 hours.

Residents that will be affected have been notified via mail.
