Pontiac Silverdome 1975-2017?  After 42 years of standing tall in Pontiac and playing host to the Lions, the Pontiac Silverdome still stands tall in Pontiac. Wait, what?

The Silverdome was all set to be imploded when something went wrong. Or if you ask the head of demolition, nothing went wrong and sometimes these things happen, but are actually planned for.

After the explosive charges failed to bring the Silverdome crashing down, a spokesperson for the demolition team reassured the crowd of reporters that the "gravity is going to take over..." and eventually the Silverdome will collapse.
