What Popular Christmas Gift Was Recalled In Michigan?
Days before the biggest gift-giving day of the year, a specific air fryer has been recalled.
If you know someone who has one, warn them! Or if you are planning to gift this air fryer to someone this Christmas, I would advise you to get another gift.
The latest recall is for over 300,000 air fryers!
300,000!!
These specific air fryers have been sold at Walmarts, Targets, and Kohl's around the country.
The recall is due to a potential burn hazard. According to USA Today,
"So far Empower Brands, the maker of the recalled models, received 41 reports of the product breaking during use, including three reports of burns."
The plastic connecter that is used to combine the two food baskets can break while you are using it, which can create a risk of a burn hazard.
If you bought one of the recalled air fryers in black or cinnamon colors between Aug. 2021 through Oct. 2023, you must contact Empower Brands to get a full refund.
