Power Crews Get Hot Meals Delivered Thanks To Local Off Road Club

Crews have been working around the clock to get power restored around West Michigan and get the tree debris cleaned up after last week’s ice storm.

Well, that work hasn’t gone unnoticed and Sunday, Ionia and Montcalm Off Road Club members made sure the crews knew they were appreciated by delivering 400 hot meals, according to Fox 17.

Chaz Ring, the club president told Fox 17 that even though area businesses were offering discounts and willing to take care of the crews, most of them weren’t able to leave where they’re working or since a lot of crews are from out of town, they don’t even know where to go.

Fox 17 says the Ionia and Montcalm Off-Road Club teamed up with a good list of area businesses to take care of the crews:

• Pizza Hut of Ionia

• Oliveras of Ionia

• Wendys of Ionia

• Little Ceasars of Greenville

• KFC of Greenville

• Sweet Stop Bakery & Coffee Shop of Sidney

• RJs Sports Bar of Sheridan

• Jets Pizza of Lowell

With more bad weather on the way, this token of appreciation may have to carry these crews through another tough week.
