Remy Ma Takes a Shot at Nicki Minaj During 2017 MTV Video Music Awards
The beef between Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj continues. While getting fans hyped up just before a commercial break during the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, Remy sent a shot at the Young Money superstar.
Speaking to viewers of the 2017 VMAs, Remy ended her bit of promotion by saying, “Nicki, what’s good?” If you've been following Nicki's career over the last few years, you'll definitely get the reference.
Back at the 2015 MTV VMAs, Nicki clapped back at Miley Cyrus after she criticized the way she handled her alleged "snub" for Video of the Year. "And now, back to this bitch who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press: Miley, what's good?" Nicki said in a moment that was retweeted into eternity.
The beef between Remy and Nicki has been brewing for quite a while now, but it finally exploded this past winter after Remy released "Shether," a scathing diss track aimed at Nicki. From there, Nicki dissed the Bronx rapper on "No Frauds" and later on 2 Chainz's "Realize." For her part, Remy had a host of past and contemporary female rappers take the stage as she performed "Shether" at the 2017 Summer Jam concert.
Check out Remy's most recent shot at Nicki in the video below. After that, take a look at our extensive timeline chronicling their beef over the years.
