A massive wildfire is currently raging in Northern California and a retired Marine is risking it all to save the lives of both humans and animals.

Tucker Zimmerman has been scouring neighborhoods in Shasta County, California looking for any signs of life.  Zimmerman has saved one man's life as well as a dozen horses from the wildfires.

According to an interview with KGO-TV, Zimmerman entered a burning house and pulled out a man with a fire hose.  He also has been taking his horse trailer and saving horses from ranches, barns, and stables from all over the county.

The Carr Fire has been burning since July 23 and has killed at least five people and destroyed hundreds of buildings.
