Royce Da 5’9" is having a lot of fun right now. A week after dropping a freestyle over Phresher’s “Wait a Minute,” the veteran rhymer returns with a new one, this time over DJ Khaled’s “I Got the Keys.”

Over the Southside, Jake One and G Koop-produced beat, Royce doesn't skip a step, showing off why he's one of the better lyricists in the world. Seriously, it's not even fair.

"I roll up to squeeze/Y'all are the kings, kings, kings/Well, I'm about to see, I'm about to see/I talk scrilla like a art dealer/I'm large money that's been augmented for the small printer/Homocide business got me side flipping like I'm cartwheeling/I'm Godzilla wearing Margiela in the mall inside of the Guitar Center/Got the boss mental/Got me off a little barking at the dog kennel," he raps.

The Slaughterhouse MC's freestyle was so good that Eminem texted him to praise his new record. A screen capture of Em's text, which you can see below, was posted on Royce's Instagram. “Really? Ur an asshole. Those fuckin freestyles u put out r devastating. Incredible. I hate u. Die,” wrote Slim Shady to Royce Da 5’9."

2016 was a busy year for Royce. He released two projects—a mixtape called Respect the Shooter in March and his Layers album in April. Hopefully we get more freestyles from Royce very soon.
