It’s been a very eventful week for Soulja Boy, but it looks like the tomfoolery is finally over. On Wednesday (Jan. 4), the Atlanta rapper renamed his Instagram account to @souljaboybabydraco and issued an apology to Chris Brown.

In the video above, Soulja Boy informed his fans that his mother is in the hospital and he wants to get back to focusing on his music.

"I know [my mom is] not proud of my actions and what I've been doing recently" he said. "I wanna make music with Chris Brown, Quavo, Lil Yachty. To all the media, to all the blogs, to all my homies from the hood that feel like I been on some hot boy s---, I apologize. I'm back to the music."

This is welcoming news after the two artists started fighting on Monday (Jan. 2) after the 26-year-old rapper liked an Instagram photo of Karrueche Tran, Brown's ex-girlfriend. Soulja Boy then accepted Brown's challenge to fight him in a boxing match in March. There's no word if the charity fight will still go down or not.

Everything came ahead on Tuesday (Jan. 3), when Soulja Boy started an Instagram Live broadcast while walking around Compton with his friends. While hanging out with his homies, Soulja Boy appeared to be getting jumped but it was only a brief scuffle. Of course, the video went viral and Brown quickly clowned Soulja for having no hood credibility.

Then on Wednesday morning (Jan. 4), Soulja Boy went on Twitter and alleged that Brown leaked his phone number online. "That's a b---- move I got his number but didn't do that. He's the definition of a F--- BOY," the rapper tweeted.

Now Soulja Boy changed his Instagram name and ended the feud. Thank god.

Chris Brown has yet to comment on Soulja's apology.
