The news comes after the closure of Elk Brewing's Comstock Park location this past January.

In a post to Facebook, the Wealthy Street Business District brew pub shared,

It is with great regret and sadness that we announce the permanent closure of ELK Brewing on Wealthy St... Our Herd could not have been more blessed to be a part of such a wonderful city, our patrons mean the world to us and we are devastated that under the circumstances we will no longer be able to serve our community delicious brews...We do apologize that we were unable to keep our doors open during these unprecedented times and for your enjoyment but we have been so fortunate for the time we have had with our amazing bartenders, friends and loyal customers. ELK Brewing will be remembered for the wonderful times and great beers we produced, again thank you very much for your support and we look forward to your last few visits into the taproom.

The public is invited to celebrate the “Extinction of ELK” at the brewery's closing party, Saturday, May 14th.

Two of Elk Brewing's most popular beers, according to Untappd, are PB & J'ale'y, an Amber Ale flavored with grape juice and peanut butter, and Dank-alicious IPA, an American IPA with 7.6% ABV.
