Suspicious Device Found In Wyoming Was Commercial Firework

A suspicious device was found on a sidewalk at 1200 56th Street SW Friday morning, resulting in the evacuation of a medical building and 2 homes.

Fox 17 reports that police were called to the scene at 9:30a.m.

The Michigan State Police Bomb Squad determined the device to be a powerful, but legal firework.

Police are investigating who left the device there and why.
