As the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services declares that the state is currently in the 'Post-Surge & Recovery Phase' of Covid 19, mask recommendations are being updated.
This morning parents in the Wayland Union School District were greeted by an app notification with a simple message, "Ignore It". The message then linked to the Public Health order issued on August 18th requiring masking for students in the district in grades K-6th.

Unfortunately for Michigan, as cases continue to rise, nearly half of the state's population now lives in those areas.
