This is the Last Weekend EVER for the Great Lakes Kite Festival

In its 30th year, the Great Lakes Kite Festival will come to an end after this weekend.

We reported it back in March but unfortunately, that time has come. The festival which is held every year in Grand Haven highlights kites of all kinds, colors, and sizes... some even as big as a bus! The event will be on Saturday, May 19th 10a-5p and Sunday, May 20th from 11a-5p at the State Park beach.

Some other things you can expect this year include:

• Kite Ballets/Performers
• Kite Demonstrations
• Open area to fly your own kite
• Shop the largest outdoor kite shop

The event is FREE to attend for everyone so if you haven't been to the kite festival before this is your last chance to take advantage of it... and the sunshine!
